Gas Prices Rise While Oil Prices Remain The Same

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Crude oil prices dropped slightly in Asian trading before settling slightly above $48 a barrel Wednesday. That is the same price oil closed at Tuesday.Gas was $1.72 Wednesday morning at the Petro Express on South Boulevard near I-485.AAA of the Carolinas reported the average price for regular gas in Charlotte was $1.73. That's up 3 cents from Tuesday and 12 cents from one week ago.
